The long-awaited Riyadh Metro Station is now officially open with 5 of its 6 lines, including Blue (Line 1), YELLOW (Line 4), and Purple (Line 6), in addition to the recent opening of the Red line (Line 2) and Green (Line 5).
Riyadh metro project is the world’s longest driverless metro system, which spans 176 km across 85 stations and aims to make Riyadh one of the most connected cities in the world, with an estimated cost around $22.5 billion.
DALPCO is proud to have successfully executed with hashtag#Freyssinet_SA part of hashtag#FAST_consortium, two of the most important stations in Riyadh Metro including their connecting skywalks bridges located at Yellow Line 4: 4G2/4G3. The Yellow Line runs from King Khalid International Airport to the King Abdullah Financial District (hashtag#KAFD). It has 9 stations and 4 interchange stations, covering 29.6 km (as shown in the below picture).
DALPCO summary scope for these 2 stations included: Glazed Facades – CW & Internal Glazing – 15000 sqm / Sunshades & Louvers – 14,000 sqm / Cladding panels – 13,000 sqm.
